MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Cream Waterproof Shadow in shade #13 is described as a warm beige. On my skin, it looks more like a rose gold than a beige. This particular shade is safe for use on both eyes and cheeks, according to the brand.

MAKE UP FOR EVER (MUFE) says the long-lasting formulation of Aqua Creams will not crease or smudge under the most extreme conditions. I have to say this statement? 100% TRUTH, y'all! I've yet to wear it long enough to see any creasing or fading at all, and that is impressive. If you're someone who doesn't feel confident going completely bare faced to the gym, beach, or pool, but don't want to look like a doofus with makeup running all over creation, Aqua Cream Shadows are your solution. It will stay put no matter what you throw at it (unless you throw eye makeup remover at it, of course)! If you live in a humid climate like me (ATL, Jo-Ja!) and have issues with shadows running and creasing, consider MUFE Aqua Creams. For me, they've outlasted plenty of humid Southern summer days of 90+ degree heat without batting a proverbial eyelash.

While it lasts on and on, I have no problem removing it with my usual face cleanser (Purpose) and a baby wipe to clean up the lingering lid remnants post-wash.

The formula of this shadow is a little more pliable and creamy than MAC Paint Pots, and the dry down time is a little longer. You have about 10 seconds to get it blended before it sets. The color payoff is phenomenal! A little swipe across the pot will yield plenty of pigmented color and pearlescence across your skin.

Originally I'd thought shade #13 might be a dupe for Urban Decay Sin, but Sin is pinker and slightly darker. I'd also wondered if it was anything like MAC Bare Study, but as you can see in the comparison below, Bare Study is much lighter and more of a light champagne color.

The shadow is housed in a clear plastic pot with a plastic screw top lid. The plastic packaging keeps MUFE Aqua Creams light and ideal for travel. If you were in a rush and needed to throw your makeup bag in your purse, this little puppy certainly wouldn't weigh you down as you dash off to your job/class/date!

The color payoff, superior resistance to creasing and fading, and an ultra light plastic pot make this one fabulous cream shadow.
