Review! | Kaia Naturals Juicy Bamboo Natural Facial Cleansing Cloths

Happy March 1st!  Good news: only 19 days remain until the official First Day of Spring!  Rejoice, my winter-weathered friends!  In honor of this happy news, I'm sharing something juicy with you today.  No, it's not celebrity gossip; it's the Kaia Naturals Juicy Bamboo Natural Facial Cleansing Cloths, $15.50 USD/CAD!

These natural bamboo fibre cleansing cloths are cruelty-free, vegan and made in small batches.  They're saturated in vitamins B12, C and E, then soaked in citrus essential oils—the highest and purest quality grade from Europe and the Middle East.  According to Kaia Naturals, "Our 'secret weapon,' a nourishing blend of honey, is heated, liquefied, and then blended with sunflower oil and jojoba oil . Our cloths are harvested from unbleached bamboo natural fibres, which mean they have a lower environmental impact than a standard wipe, making them cashmere soft."
These little wonder cloths are also free of parabens, synthetic fragrance and alcohol.  Each cloth unfolds to a size that fits the palm of your hand.
These cloths smell AMAZING!  Like a subtle, all-natural Hawaiian Punch.  I've been using them for several weeks and they remove my makeup at the end of the day with ease.  There is no stinging whatsoever, even when I use them on my eyes to take off my liner and mascara.  I haven't had a single breakout since I started using the Kaia Naturals cloths!
Before & After using a Kaia Naturals Juicy Bamboo Facial Cleansing Cloth
Kaia Naturals also offers the Juicy Bamboo cloths in a pack of 20 individually wrapped cloths, making them perfect for tossing in your purse, gym bag, or "go bag" if you happen to work for the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit. ;)
If you're in the market for a cruelty-free, vegan cleansing wipe, definitely give the Kaia Naturals Juicy Bamboo Natural Facial Cleansing Cloths a look!

  2. Thye look promising! I'm not big on wipes in general. Well, not on my face, but I do love using them when I swatch products. My poor left arms needs some TLC, you know. :)

  3. I sometimes use wipes to remove makeup before getting down to the rest of my cleansing routine (I just prefer not to make a mess melting makeup off with a cleansing balm, I guess), so these do sound good!

  4. I agree! I do sometimes use an oil remover, but man, there is nothing more clean and convenient than a wipe! These are awesome and leave my skin feeling happy, without a trace of tightness or dryness.

  5. Me too, Dee! Bamboo sheets are the BEST. Thank you! The lipstick I was sporting there is Buxom Love, Dolly Full-Bodied Lipstick (non-tingly)! It's a favorite lately! <3

  6. HAHAHA oh you make me LAUGH. I love it! I've tried these and LOVE them! I'd use them forever if I could! But the Kirkland Wipes are just SO much cheaper...if I was not putting Marky thru an expensive Art College I'd be all over these for sure!

  7. Aw, thanks, T! :D I love them, too! They really do feel like you're treating your skin to a cocktail of vitamins and unicorn tails! Maybe Marky can give you a 30-pack when she graduates, lol! :)

  8. If both of you say this is good, then it must be! Too bad they're not available here though

  9. I don't like cleansing wipes. Even the supposedly soothing ones irritate my skin... This review is making me wonder if maybe I'm the problem and not the wipes...

  10. I love love the ease of facial cleansing cloths and if it smells like hawaiin punch I'm in!! although tempting I try not to use cleansing cloths every night and switch out with my beloved clarisonic!! the fact these are soaked in "juicy vitamins"makes them very desirable!! I've been using Neutrogena's cloths - have you tried them? if so, how do these compare?

  11. These sound heavenly. I have been using the Neutrogena (blue package, don't know the name hahaha) wipes to remove my makeup and it leaves me feeling greasy, even thought it's a no-oil formula. I have been looking for something (not just natural) but lighter-weight with a pleasant non-chemical scent. Who doesn't love the sound of an all-natural hawaiian punch scented wipe, full of goodness that won't sting!?
Also; no breakouts since using these!?!?! HOT DOG. I have been breaking out so much lately (well, compared to how my skin normally is), right around my "chin strap" area, hahaha. Perhaps an extra quick wipe of these cleansing towels could ease the situation? I'm sold. and I'm off to make my purchase!!! Wootness!!

    MUCH LOVE.

  12. These just sound like they'd feel amazing on my face. I'm so picky with makeup wipes I think I've switched every time I've run out and I'm still dissatisfied. I'll have to try these out! Thanks for the tips! (: Mad props on the go-bag bit. haha

  13. I used to go through tons of makeup wipes although now I'm getting better about cleansing at the end of the day. The mention of the word juicy though sounds tempting - juicy wipes sound like a drink for the face! Haha!

  14. Is that a straw coming out of the box? So cool! I wouldn't mind having a few of those individually wrapped ones in my makeup bag! I bet they'd come in handy! No stinging and no breakouts = #yes!

  15. These look interesting and if they are packed with vitamins, I am in! I like the idea of the individually wrapped wipes. I have been faithful to my Neutrogena Makeup removing wipes and I always buy them in Bulk from Costco.

  16. CRIMINAL MINDS HAHAHA That cracks me up! You silly, Kristen!!! But who's your favorite character? lol

I don't have cleansing cloths at the moment but these wipes are so handy when traveling! I totally forgot about them during our trip last few days ago!

  17. Ha! Aw, I'm sure you're not the problem! You just haven't found the right wipe that makes your skin happy.

  18. I agree - love the ease of cleansing cloths! I've only used them a time or too without following up with a regular soap and water cleanse. I think of them as more of a makeup remover only, but these Kaia ones were really glorious - no residue left behind! I've had the Neutrogena a few times and think they are absurdly good at removing makeup - probably the best of all of the wipes I've ever used. The only thing I don't love about them is that they leave a residue behind, but since I always wash my face afterwards, it's no big deal.

  19. Yes, I totally agree! The Neutrogena ones are amazing for removing makeup, but they do leave an oily residue. I always wash my face after using a cloth, so the residue isn't a deal-breaker for me, but if I could get away wit using only wipes it would be a huge problem! Aw, I'm sorry you were breaking out in your chin strap area! Damn the hormones!

  20. Yay! Props to you, fellow Criminal Minds fan! ;) The Kaia wipes do feel amazing on the skin; my favorite feeling of any wipes I've tried. The scent alone is just a big bowl of YUMS!

  21. Great description, Vita! A face drink! These are really nice; I'd buy them in bulk if they were available that way, lol! I think I'm the only person who uses a regular cleanser after using a wipe!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yes, Jaa! It is a straw! Isn't it adorable? They slam dunked it on the packaging front. These are delightful cloths!

  23. Do you follow up the wipe with regular soap and water cleansing? I'm just curious, because I do, but most commenters use them in lieu of soap and water cleansing. I think of wipes as step 1: makeup remover, which has to be followed by step 2: cleanser, unless I'm unbelievably tired, lol! The Neutrogena wipes are excellent. Nothing removes makeup better than those. The Kaia cloths are the most nutritious / organic, smell incredible and leave no residue, but they're less accessible and cost more per wipe. Have you ever tried the MAC wipes? Always been curious about them but the cost seems a bit high.

  24. AGREED! Wipes are GOLD for travel! :D
Ah, Criminal Minds! I'd say 'Dr. Reid' and "Chocolate Thunder" a/k/a Shemar Moore. What a beauty! Shimmer Moore has to be one of the most beautiful men on earth! Do you like the show? Who's your favorite character? :)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yes. It's one of my favorite TV series at the moment. I am so behind though. I am watching Season 8. No spoilers please lol. I love Dr. Reid and Garcia!!! Also, I follow all of them on Twitter! haha!

  26. ME TOO, Laarni! <3 Don't worry, though I've been watching the current season, I've also watched a bunch of the re-runs on TV and some of the first ones on Netflix! I plan to watch the whole series from start to finish this summer with season 1! I love that you follow them on Twitter!
