Lush's Oatifix mask contains oats, mashed bananas, and ground almonds and is described as a great solution for those experiencing dry flaky skin. I received this mask as a Christmas gift and I was so excited to try it!
It smells amazing; like a fresh bowl of oatmeal with almond milk and sliced bananas. It's a bit hard to spread at first due to it being cold from the fridge, but once it absorbs some warmth from your skin it smoothes on more easily. I slathered it on, let it sit for 10 minutes, and then rinsed it off with warm water. My skin felt incredibly soft and moisturized and I didn't experience any breakouts after use.
The pot is made of 100% recycled material and is completely recyclable. Lush has a program where they will give you a free face mask if you bring in 5 empty Lush containers, which is pretty cool.
Lush's face masks are made of "biologically active" ingredients and must be refrigerated at all times. Because of this, their masks are only available for purchase in stores. You can visit their website, browse the masks, and then use the store locator to find a Lush store near you.
