1) NARS Lhasa Eyeshadow
2) China Glaze Shocking Pink Nail Lacquer
3) Slatkin & Co./B&BW candles (The 3 wick varieties are on sale for $11 bucks this week!)
4) I need to buy foundation that suits my summer skin tone as all of my go-to foundations are WAY too light right now. I've narrowed the field to the Tarte Amazonian Clay or Laura Mercier Silk Creme. If anyone has any thoughts on them, please let me know!
What's on your Wednesday Wish List?
I have China Glaze's Shocking Pink, and it's a great neon color! I do have to do 2 coats to make it opaque, but other than that, it's awesome. I also love the Bath and Body Work's Candles...so good! As for the foundation, it all depends on your skin type. If you're on the oilier side and need something long wearing, I'd go for the Tarte Amazonian Clay.

I love my Nars Lhasa Eyeshadow! It think it's definitely a fall/winter favorite of mine!
ReplyDeleteOh that's good to hear that it's a fave! I just ordered it using some of my birthday gift certificate from Amazon - so excited! It looks like a shade that will get a lot of use! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Justine! I was just thinking about you! I haven't been the best at keeping up with new beauty posts at bloglovin lately - I'll have to check in at your blog to see what you've been up to! Thank you for the rec on the foundation! I really need to go to Sephora and get shade matched. I've gotten too dark for my foundations and have no idea what shade I am now! And those CANDLES! I am in love!
ReplyDeleteLhasa is a great shade! But .... you know for your skin tone, I think if you're going to splurge on a taupe go all out woman and get Le Metier de Beaute Corinthian. :) That's what I say haha! LM Silk Creme is REALLY heavy coverage and not for me as I prefer light to medium coverage. The Tarte one is nice! Great for combo skin for sure!
ReplyDeleteOooh, those candles look interesting! I love anything scented :-)
ReplyDeleteOoh thanks for the taupe rec! I've never used anything from LMdB before but always see it getting love on bblogs! I just googled that color and wow - looks tres belle! Thanks for letting me know about the foundations, too! I definitely wanted feedback. Sounds like the LM might be a better bet for winter. Not having a foundation that matches my skin since I got some sun has definitely forced me to get more comfortable with less coverage because the only thing I have in my arsenal that matches is NARS TM! I am finally "getting" the idea behind why people have "summer" and "winter" foundations. I never understood that before this! :)
ReplyDeleteDankjewel! ;) You'd love them b/c they are powerful and smell so damn good! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you get caught up soon! Whenever that happens to me and I log in to bloglovin and there's "189" posts to catch up on, I'm sitting there with my mouth agape thinking "how...did this happen?!" LOL! It's easy to get behind! Thanks for the info on the foundation, Justine! I think I'm going to do exactly what you suggested an get samples of both! Love knowing this was one of your faves to shade match. :)
