I haven't done a Five Faves post in a hot minute (
October 19th, 2014 to be specific!) and I was inspired by
Nessa Giron to do one on my current favorite lipsticks when she tagged me on
Instagram to share my picks! Thanks for inspiration, Nessa! These are my five current favorite lipsticks of life!

ReplyDeleteI really enjoy these favorites posts! I've heard nice things about the L'Oréal glossy balms, Lovely Mocha looks like a great color to start with! Syrup is the only one I have in my stash but I haven't given it much love - thanks for reminding me to pull it out and wear it more often. Hope you have a lovely Hearts Day <3!

ReplyDeleteI just pulled Happy Days out of "storage" and put it back into my "regularly used" makeup. Wahoo! I am loving UD Revolutions lately. Nude is a fave, I recently purchased Liar and Protest - both of which are deeper than I was hoping. Not bad, but not what I was in the mood for. I'm wanting more nudes lately and am just not finding what I'm looking for!

ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty! Happy days shows up way different on your skin than I'd expect it to. It's so pink rather than the deep red it looks in packaging. I don't think I could choose five at the moment. I'm currently loving Rimmel London's Provocalips in Play with Fire. (:

Excellent picks and excellent pix too! Syrup is an old favourite and I need to have another look at it the next time I hit a MAC counter. If I had to choose five I'm loving currently this summer I'd go with TF True Coral (again!), Bite Beauty Rose, Nyx matte Shocking Pink, TF Cherry Lush (my Valentines Day red pick) and MAC Peach Blossom :)

ReplyDeleteOh gosh, yes, Happy Days is a sheer coral, I guess my photo editing "skills" made it look red in the packaging! Rimmel makes great lipsticks!

ReplyDeleteI'd love to see you sporting Happy Days! Love that you pulled it out of storage, lol! Rapture is the only UD lipstick I have, but my eyes have been on their Sheer Revolution range lately. For your nude search, what about MAC? They have the most amazing range of neutrals, to me, out of any lipstick brand. Or Bite Beauty's new Buttercream Hand Cut lipsticks? They look to have a good range of nudes. Best of luck on your dream lipstick hunt! :)

ReplyDeleteby the way just gave you a shout out on my oscars blog post since you so awesomely gave me the exact name and product used on gorge margot!! i don't wear tons of lipstick (usually glosses) but right now they'd be mac "angel" and "flat out fabulous" plus l'oreal's "british red" and nyx soft matte creams in "istanbul" and "san paulo"
