Hello there guys & dolls! I'm sorry I've been MIA lately, but I've been focusing on my upcoming nuptials (36 days to go!!) and trying to relax whenever the chance arises. I've been catching up on Bates Motel season 2 and OMG...SO GOOD. I swear, Vera Farmiga is AMAZING. Definitely my current favorite actress. Anywho, beauty-wise, I thought I'd share one of my all-time faves with y'all today in the form of Soap & Glory's The Scrub of Your Life!
You know how sometimes with a scrub, there's too much base and not enough beads or vice-versa? The Scrub of Your Life achieves the ideal balance of creaminess and exfoliation to take your skin from drab to fab, and - HUGE BONUS - it's non-oily! You'll have no worries about having an unfortunate shower slip when you use this. This is more of a exfoliating foaming cleanser, I'd even dare say. It rinses completely clean, leaving skin feeling supple yet clean without the oily residue some scrubs leave behind on your skin and your tub!
This would be so much better (& more Hello Jaa-ish <3) with a macro lens! |
The Scrub of Your Life and The Righteous Butter are two Soap & Glory products that I've "hit pan on" many times and always repurchase.
Do you have any Soap & Glory favorites? What's your go-to body scrub?
My Rating: A+
Where to Buy: Sephora, Soap & Glory
I love S&G body products and they all smell amazing. My favorite scrub is the amazing Breakfast scrub - yum yum :o) Xx

Hey Kristin! I think I've tried one of their body lotions in a sample sachet, but I really didn't like the smell! I'm not sure what it was that bothered me. So far that's the only Soap & Glory anything I've tried!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the wedding preparations! xx
Thanks, boo! :D
ReplyDeleteI wonder which lotion it was? They do have several different scents so maybe there's still hope, lol! :) Happy Saturday!
The Breakfast Scrub has been on my wish list for awhile now! It sound so good! I've yet to try an S&G product I didn't love!
ReplyDeleteI THINK it's The Righteous Butter. You have a good one, too!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds delicious!! :D I have tried S&G Hand Food Hand Cream and I have to agree with Sunny that I'm not particularly fond of the scent! I hope this scrub smells differently (although I highly doubt it). I'll have a sniff next time I'm at Sephora because from your review, it sounds just like the perfect scrub that I don't wanna miss out! Leaving no oily residues is always the biggest plus in my book. :D
ReplyDeleteLOL @ the Hello Jaa-ish comment. Haha. ^_^
Well...darn! Maybe you can try out some of the other fragrances from them because their bath products are really fantastico! Give Kissa a pet for me! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is my favourite product of theirs too! It works so well! And I love the smell too. I found one hiding in my cupboard and I'm using it now baby! ! How could I have not noticed you there scrubby of my life? :D
ReplyDeleteHi Jaa-Jaa! :D I checked the S&G website and they say Hand Food is int he same scent family as this, but I'm dubious because my mom had Hand Food and it didn't smell all that good to me! They do have 3 other fragrance "families" (this is sounding a little mafia-like!) in case it is the Original Pink scent you're not a fan of. They have a scrub in a different family called Sugar Crush that's often raved about, though I've never tried it personally! I have never found another scrub outside of The Scrub of Your Life that didn't leave an oily residue so this one's HG for me! Happy Saturday, peaches!
ReplyDeleteOh, that is a GREAT surprise! I would always be happy to find a tube of this hiding out in a cabinet! I'm glad you found it and have busted it out! Since you are a fan of this scent, you should try The Righteous Butter! Post-scrub, it's perfection! A double threat of Original Pink scented yumminess! :)
ReplyDeleteI just picked up a set of trial size S&G products and this was in there. i've only tried the Hand Food and LOVED the scent! YAY!
ReplyDeleteOh good! You will love this scrub, Julie! :D
ReplyDeletei've gotta give this a sniff!! ;)
ReplyDeleteI've only tried one S&G product so far, and that was a hand cream. I wasn't *that* impressed to be honest, but I'd have to try more products to really know for sure what I think of the brand.
ReplyDeletethis sounds so awesome! i really need to get on the S&G train!
ReplyDeleteJenn
A Beautiful Zen
You'll have to let me know if you like it! There seems to be a great division amongst those who LURVE the scent, and those who don't! :)
ReplyDeleteIf you only give one more item a shot from S&G, let it be this scrub! It's seriously FANTASTIC. The Righteous Butter is another item I highly adore, but if it's only getting 1 shot - go with the scrub! :D
ReplyDeleteHi Jenn! Choo-choo! All aboard the S&G Train! ;) I hope you get to try something from the brand soon and you love it! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI AM DYING to get my hands on ANYTHING Soap & Glory, but this has to be one of the first things I purchase when I finally get the chance. I love scrubs, and you sold me on this haha! I just bought a Sonia Kashuk body butter and hand lotion that has similar scents like bergamot, rose, etc and I LOVE the scent. I'm picturing this one similar with more of a cozy vanilla musk to it, and MAN that sounds awe-mazing (awesome + amazing... no?).
ReplyDeleteI will be sure to alert you once I've finally experience Soap & Glory. Thank you for this post!!
Much Love,
-Stephanie Eva
For some unexplainable reason for the past 30 years I've preferred to live in a cocoon of scales, feathers and leather. Ewwww. Sounds like a bad porn flick. Anyhow a lovely and brilliant individual unknowingly or perhaps subconsciously decided I NEEDED this in my life and like a caterpillar to butterfly...I began to molt! Gross. I'll stop. This stuff is awesome!
ReplyDeleteYay! Yes, definitely alert me when you've experienced Soap & Glory for the first time! I really think the scent is CRAZY good! It's so hard to describe, but I want it in candle form for every room of my house! :D
ReplyDeleteMuch love to you, BBBF! <3
LOL! "Molt"! This comment is epic. You are so welcome, btw! I am just so glad you like it! I just love that it's non-oily so you don't have to worry about busting your buns slipping in the tub! No one needs that kind of adventure. :)
