Today I'd like to introduce you to one of my very best friends, Bubble Gum Lip Scrub by Lush. Not to sound all fashion-y, but this scrub is "
everything"!
Bubble Gum smells and tastes like cotton candy ("candy floss" if you're in the UK!). This is the only lip scrub I've tried that tasted so good I could sit down and eat it snack-style whilst watching
MTV's Catfish. It's all a matter of restraint, people!

The 100% vegan scrub contains sugar to rid your lips of any flakes, and cold-pressed organic jojoba oil to soothe them. I love using this before applying lipstick as it ensure a perfectly smooth lip canvas. To use, apply a bit to your lips and gently scrub. Hold over a sink so any falling sugar is easily rinsed down the drain when you're done. I usually lick off the excess and then rinse with water to remove any lingering grains from around my mouth. Voila! Perfectly smooth, happy lips.
This is a product I've loved for a couple of years and I cannot recommend it enough. If you have chapped lips or just want something to help prime your lips for lipstick, you should definitely add this tool to your arsenal! If cotton candy isn't your jam, they also make it in Popcorn and Mint Julips. One jar of this lasts me months with daily use. It's a great deal for $9.95 USD! ReplyDeleteOh sure, sure you can certainly use a toothbrush...but your toothbrush probably doesn't taste like a deliciously decadent dessert! ;) I'm also a fan of using a damp washcloth for lip scrubbery, too. But again, no cotton candy noms there either!

Hey bud! I wasn't a huge fan of the Fresh Sugar LS. I found it a bitter and it left my lips feeling greasy enough that I would end up going back and washing my lips with a light cleanser. The lush scrub is AWESOME. It tastes amazing, does a great job of exfoliating and it doesn't leave my lips feeling like I just ate onion rings, lol! Girl, if you like Snow Fairy, you will go GAGA for this because it smells the exact same! :)
ReplyDeleteI will have to try the Sara Happ scrubs! I'm all about experimenting with beauty goodies! So thank you! And that is adorable that your baby boy loves the bath bombs and bubble bars from Lush! I would be so much more of a bath gal if I had a big, luxurious garden tub in which all of my "features" *ahem* would be UNDER the water liine as opposed to above them, as they are in my current standard tub. I mean, come on. I don't need fancy jets, but I'd at least like complete extremity submersion!

I'm a bit partial to LUSH's bath bombs-I don't get the luxury of taking a bath often, but when I do, the bombs definitely help to step it up a notch!
