If you're not following Norvina on Instagram, you're missing out on some serious makeup inspiration! Norvina a/k/a Claudia Soare, president of Anastasia Beverly Hills and daughter of founder Anastasia Soare, has a feed packed with gorgeous makeup looks and hilarious memes and gifs. One of my favorite looks she's ever done was this stunning two-toned lid:

For the eyes, I primed with NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base. From the Maya Mia Palette, I applied Warm Taupe and Caramel in the crease and darkened the outer V with Sienna. I applied Fresh Peach on the outer lid and Aqua on the inner lid and blended slightly. I popped Glisten on the inner corners. I applied LORAC Front of the Liner Liquid Liner in Black to the upper lash line and lined the bottom lash line and water line with MAC Technakohl Liner in Graphblack. I primed the lashes with a coat of Maybelline Volum' Express Pumped Up! Colossal Mascara in Glam Black and followed with 2 coats of Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Mascara. I defined the brows using Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Blonde and Brow Wiz in Medium Brown. I finished them off with Benefit Gimme Brow in Medium/Deep.
For the face, I applied NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation in Santa Fe with a wet Beauty Blender. I concealed under the eyes with Garnier Anti-Dark-Circle Eye Roller and contoured with MAC Golden Bronzing Powder. I applied Cover Girl Clean Glow Blusher in Roses to the apples of my cheeks and swept the powder upward toward the temples.
For the lips, I filled them in with MAC Beurre Cremestick Liner and topped it with MAC Blankety Amplified Lipstick. I went back in with Beurre and defined the corners to give the lips some depth. I just learned this awesome trick from Kandee Johnson's video "How To Get Tons Of Compliments On Your Lip Color"!
That last but one picture? Oh My God! So much oomph and attitude! ;-) :-) Love it!
ReplyDeleteThe eye look you did really brings out your stunning eyes! Hope you're having a great weekend Kristen!
ReplyDeleteHOLY BEAUTIFUL BATMAN! You look FANTASTIC!!!! Those last three selfies are quite honestly KILLING. I see what you were excited about with this mint/coral in the palette. So glad you shared. JUST SO FANTASTICAL. The palette looks pretty good, too ;) hahah. And the lips you picked to go with the eyes really makes me smile. LURVE x900.
ReplyDeleteMUCH LOVE,
Dunkin Doe Nut.
SO SO PRETTY! You look amazing! It really compliments your gorgeous green eyes beautifully! More FOTDs please!
ReplyDeleteOOOOH, I love it! I love that two-toned look! That minty green is such a fresh color. I don't have anything like that - I can never find anything pigmented enough.
ReplyDeleteSoooo much fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alison! I think so too!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Larie! I agree, there is definitely a deficit when it comes to pigmented mint shadows! This one is pretty groovy! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, thank you, Tracy!! I would love to do more FOTDs! You are the freshest peach in the bushel! ;)
ReplyDeleteHELLO Dunkin Doe Nut! ;D You are the sweetest and spunkiest gal, thank you so much! Your comments have made my day!! And yes, coral and aqua and neutrals?! YAS!!! I cannot wait to post the full review with swatches. This palette's a beauty!
ReplyDeleteMucho love and beef burrito supremes! XOXO, CF2
Thank you so much, sweet pea!! :) I hope you're having a lovely Sunday, too!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Divya! :) Your comment made me smile like a goofball! :D <3
ReplyDeleteSooooo pretty!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for your review! ABH has been on a roll with all of these palettes!
xo
LOVE THIS LOOK! A beautiful colour combination :-)
ReplyDeleteHey Kristen, I saw this on Instagram last night before falling asleep. It's gorgeous! You really made an effort in the lip department as well. I am ashamed to say I am a swipe and go type of girl LOL
ReplyDeleteThis look is amazing and you did such a fabulous job! It really suits you too. :D I'm such a palette hoarder and never touch most of them, so I'll just look away now and pretend this one doesn't exist. (Hmmm... how do I get a nice aqua like that though? Urgh.)
ReplyDeleteOh wow gorgeous eye look here, Kristen! These colors play so well with your beautiful green eyes!! The eyeliner work is also on point! Thanks for the tip for adding definition to the lips! Gotta try it tomorrow. :D
ReplyDeleteDid you use anything under the brow bone? I'm seeing light pink (but I'm not sure) and I absolutely love the effect! I will try this in my next look for sure! LOVE!
Why do I like to end my sentences with "!" all the time?! LOL! Seeeee?? I'm doing it again!!!!
This palette is everything on you, especially paired with that lipstick. I am loving this look!
ReplyDeleteOkay so I need MAC Beurre asap. I already have blankety and I am obsessed with your lips here. Not to be creepy haha
ReplyDeleteI wanted the Maya Mia palette so much but now they have the new one out that I forget the name of but it starts with a T. I think I really want that one just a bit more. But it's still a hard choice, especially with all this pretty holiday stuff coming out. Sadly, I cannot buy all the things.
Thank you, Liliana! I agree, I am LOVING the vlogger/blogger collabs ABH has been putting out! It's so cool when beauty companies partner with the people who love their products most!
ReplyDeleteThank you, boo! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Sunny! LOL - I did make a lip department effort, which is something I've never really done before as far as shading with liner and whatnot! It was fun! 99.99% of the time, I'm a swipe n' go gal myself. I only own 3 lip liners!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Liz biscuits! <3 I too am a palette hoarder. My lord, I just love them. I would live with one mascara for the rest of my days if I could have every eye shadow palette the comes out for the next 5 years.
ReplyDeleteThank you, sweet Jaa! <3 I was worried about the liner - it looked straight until I went into extreme close up mode and then it was like, hmmmmm. So thank you! I didn't use a brow bone highlight - for some reason, the combination of that compact fluorescent bulb and my iPhone camera creates this pink color there?!? I noticed it on another EOTD post I did on instagram a few weeks ago with a NARS duo. I thought maybe I'd tweezed a hair before I took the picture, but when I saw it again here, I knew it was the light/camera combo! So strange! I really want a better camera! I do often use the Lt Pink shade in the LORAC Pro Palette there - I actually did today, so it's funny that you mentioned it!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes - I too am an exclamation point lover! There's nothing wrong with coming across as a happy and slightly over caffeinated person, LOL!! ;)
Wow! Thank you so much, Julie! :)
ReplyDeleteBuerre is awesome, Jenn! I wore it under Patisserie for the wedding and my lips stayed put all night! LOL - you are hilarious, and that wasn't creepy at all! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYes! The Tamanna palette! They are killing me with these amazing collab palettes! Tamanna is my other favorite so far, but yes - sadly I cannot buy all of the palettes on earth - and holiday collections. Much to my chagrin! ;)
this turned out soo well! and thank you for your sweet comments!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Elle! ❤❤❤
